Steve is proud to continue the Crouch family business started by his father. After Steve graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Agricultural Engineering, he returned home to join the family business. He became president in 1989 and has expanded the company from one to 3 locations and has increase the company footprint from a regional company to international sales.
Steve has built the business around several core values: quality products, service, and a personal commitment to do the right thing for the customer. These values are also reflected in the several organizations in which he has served as a volunteer.
The Georgia Agribusiness Council is one of Steve’s most active commitments. He has been Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and served on numerous committees over 35+ years. He was the first chairman for the Georgia AgriTrust.
One of his greatest passions is Boy Scouts. An Eagle Scout himself, he has served as Council District Chairman, District Commissioner, Council President, Eagle Board of Review, Instructor at Philmont Camp – just to name a few. He has received the Silver Beaver and NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout awards from the Flint River Council.
Steve has worked in other organizations within the community: Griffin Rotary Club, Junior Achievement, Goals for Griffin Board of Directors. He has been honored as Griffin Man of the year.
When not working with his various organizations, Steve is an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing.
