October 16 begins the 2018 Sunbelt Expo at Spence Field in Moultrie, GA. Newton Crouch Inc. is one of the original exhibitors from the 1970’s. We will be returning to our location at B2-42. 300 seminars & demonstrations are offered over the 3-day event. There is something of interest to everyone with 100 acres of exhibit area with both outdoor and indoor displays, a 600 acre working research farm and 780 exhibitors.

NCI is having its annual summer meeting where members of sales, production, accounting, HR and marketing will discuss challenges and accomplishments. Sebring Manager Randy White and Richard Williams of Albany are attending, along with outside sales representatives Michael Carruth, Brian Crosby, John Crouch and Chase Hassey.
NCI is proud to announce Chase Hassey as the new Equipment Sales contact for South and North Carolina. Chase started with us in the Liquid Equipment Production Shop. He has hands-on experience with liquid equipment from the ground up. Chase is also a farmer whose hay won 3rd place in the Southeastern Hay Competition at the SunBelt Expo 2017, 1st in Spalding County and Middle Georgia Hay Contests. Chase will understand farming requirements as well as the capabilities of NCI equipment. He’s a great fit for equipment sales.
Don’t forget to visit John at the Mid-South Farm & Gin Show. NCI will be located in the large exhibit hall in booth 333-335 along aisle B showing a row crop spreader outfitted with Raven precision components. Unfortunately Michael won’t be at the show this year because of a broken foot!
The Mid-South Farm and Gin Show will be held at the Memphis Cook Convention Center from Tuesday, Feb 27 through Thursday, Mar 1 from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Newton Crouch Inc. will be there represented by Michael Carruth and John Crouch. The weather is chilly but you’ll get a warm reception at our booth. See our equipment, kick the tires and get answers from 2 knowledgeable guys. Tell them you saw this and get a free NCI hat!
The Georgia Agribusiness Council will host its 2018 Georgia State Legislative Breakfast on February 7 at the Georgia Freight Depot in Atlanta. Food Lines open at 7:15 am. Governor Nathan Deal, Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle, House Speaker David Ralston and Agricultural Commissioner Gary Black will be in attendance as the agribusiness community interacts with elected officials for Georgia. Newton Crouch Inc. will host a table and be represented by Steve Crouch, Marty Crouch and Scott Harward.
The Georgia Young Farmers Association will have its 2018 Annual Convention in Braselton, Georgia at the Chateau Elan Winery & Resort. Farmers and agribusiness leaders will attend. GYFA promotes adult agricultural education thru seminars and meetings. It helps members keep abreast of farming techniques, risk management, water management and legislative issues. Brian Crosby of Newton Crouch Inc. will attend the meeting.
John Crouch will be representing Newton Crouch Inc. at the Southern Farm Show in Raleigh, North Carolina starting Jan 31. As always, it promises to be a great show with free admission & free parking. It’s too cold to be in the field, so come on out to the show, come by our booth and tell John you read this post. He’ll give you a Newton Crouch hat!
The Mississippi Peanut Growers Association will have its annual meeting and trade show Jan 31 – Feb 1 at the Lake Terrace Convention Center in Hattiesburg, MS. Michael Carruth from Newton Crouch Inc. will attend the meeting.
Chase Hassey, a NCI associate here in Griffin, won 3rd place in the 2017 Southeastern Hay competition at the Sunbelt Expo in Moultrie this year. There were 106 entries so Chase had a lot of competition! Chase also won the Spalding County Hay contest. NCI congratulates Chase and is proud to have him on our team.
